Delhi isn't just temples and monuments, the city also holds some genuinely good green spaces, from heritage gardens built around centuries-old tombs to a real urban forest where the traffic noise disappears completely. Our Full Day Delhi Parks Trip covers six of the city's best parks in one relaxed day out, planned so you're not wasting time figuring out which park is worth the drive and which one to skip. It's a Heritage Gardens, Bamboo Trails, Urban Forest, Lakeside Walks Trip. October to March is the ideal window for this tour, when cooler weather makes a full day of walking across six parks far more comfortable. If you're combining this with more of the city, our guide on Delhi's best parks can help you plan additional stops.
The day starts at Lodhi Garden, Delhi's most visited heritage park, then moves to Deer Park in Hauz Khas. After lunch, the trip continues to the newer, photo-friendly Bansera Park on the banks of the Yamuna, followed by a longer stretch at Sanjay Van the city's largest urban forest. The day winds down at Nehru Park and closes with the quieter Buddha Jayanti Park before the drive back to your hotel.
If your idea of a good Delhi day is walking under old trees instead of standing in ticket queues, this is the trip to book.
This is a nature and leisure day tour covering Delhi's finest green spaces, from heritage tombs to thick urban forests and landscaped bamboo trails, moving smoothly across the city in a single day.
